Wells connect the hydrocarbon levels of the reservoir to the surface structure, enabling the injection of gas into the reservoir and its subsequent withdrawal.

Wells consist of two elements:

• externally, the casing is erected: it comprises steel pipes anchored in the rocky formation with cement;
• additional steel piping is positioned inside the casing: called completion tubing, it allows the flow of gas
